The man became the third man cured of HIV disease by stem cell transplants!!

Stem cells transplant could cure HIV disease, actually it is already has cured person and this person has become the third person ever cured of HIV disease, the tow other patients were also cured of HIV disease after stem cell transplants.

The 54-years-old known as dusseldorf patient, has deemed cured after going 4 years without anti-retroviral therapy (ART) and having no relapse، the treatment is widely given to HIV patients in many countries and it is suppresses the virus to the point that the symptoms do not present and it can not be spread to other people if taken regularly.

Stem cell transplants involves destroying unhealthy blood cells and replacing them with healthy stem cells, usually from bone marrow of another person.

They carry significant risk of complications due to infection after the transplanted cell attacking other cells in host's body.
Due to this danger, they currently carried out where the patients have other life-threatening disease.

While the stem cell transplants therapy is unlikely to be available soon, the researchers are optimistic the knowledge gained from curing those patients and it will help future studies into HIV disease cures.

The availability of the ART has risen dramatically after major worldwide push in recent years, from 25% of people with HIV receiving it in 201‪0 to 75% in 202‪1 According to world Bank data.
Coverage remains low in many poorer countries, which is the home of people lives with HIV disease, it has risen to 79%.

Stem cell transplants may be the solution to cure the HIV disease, but it needs some development and well understand how the virus work to train our immune system to stop it.
