SUDAN is a country in Northeast Africa, it has population of 45.70 million people in 2022, and occupies 1,886,068 Square kilometres, about 21.3 thousand person every square kilometre. 




making it Africa's third-largest country by area and third-largest by area in the Arab league, it was the largest in Africa and the Arab league until the secession of South Sudan in 2011. 

in 1955, after Sudan became independent jaafar nimeiry began islamist rule in Sudan and this exacerbated the rift between Islamic in the North and Christians in South Sudan, and thi led to civil war between the government influenced by the national Islamic front and southern rebels, whose most influential faction was the Sudan people's Liberation army (SPLA), which led to independence of South Sudan in 2011
between 1989 and 2019 Sudan experienced 30-years-long military dictatorship led by Omer al-Bashir, who was accused of human rights abuse, including torture and persecution of minorities, alligation of sponsoring global terrorism, and ethnic genocide due to its actions in the war in darfur region that broke out in 2003, the regime's actions killed an estimated 300000 to 400000 people.

Revolution in Sudan 
Protested erupted demanding omer al-Bashir resignation, which resulted coup on 11 April 2019 and al-Bashir's impirsonment.
