1- when you think you are hungry:
You might be thirsty, most people don't realize they're actually thirsty when the hunger seems to strike but your brain realize this trigger.
Drink some water and give a few minutes to see if it satisfies your urge to eat.
2- when you wake up in the morning :
The morning is a best time to hydrate, your body has gone through a long fast, so that you have to drink water every morning.
3- whenever you sweat :
Anything make sweat, sauna, hot tub, exercise, muggy day, make your body lose a fluid, as your muscles warm up, so you need to drink water to compensate the lost water.
4- before, during, and after the exercise :
Befor you work out or spend the time outside, fill up a bottle with 16 to 20 ounces of water, drink 6 to 12 every 10-15 minutes while you are active, afterward drink up again another 16-24 ounces.
5- when you are sick :
Hydration is the key to healing when you are sick, symptoms such as fever and diarrhea and vomiting can cause extreme loss of water, at the first sign of illness drink lots of water especially when you are not hungry, stay away from alcohol and caffeinated drinks.
6- when you have a headache :
One of the top migraine cause is dehydration, small dip in fluid intake can bring on an intense headache, it also make you feel fuzzy, so you have to keep your bottle of water within your hands.
7- before eating meal :
Drinking water before eating meal might help you lose weight, small study tested people who drank 500 milliliters about 30 minutes before mealtime after 12 weeks they lost almost 3 pounds more than those who didn't follow the protocol.
How much water is best??
The U.S academies for science and engineering and medicine say more fluid is better for average, healthy adults 15.5 cups a day ideal for a men, and about 11.5 cups is enough for most women.
But this depends on your own need for water "this depends on your health", and how active you are, and the climate where you live.
